Chasing Rainbows GP Ben Stokes Appears on CNBC’s “Money Movers”

During Pride Month, “Money Movers” reported on the funding barriers currently facing LGBTQ+ start-up founders. CNBC reporter Brandon Gomez spoke to GP Ben Stokes about Chasing Rainbows’ work in “level-setting the VC funding space for queer founders,”

Gomez noted in his report that despite making up more than 7% of the US population, LGBTQ-targeted businesses only receive 0.5% of the $2.1 trillion available in venture funding over the past two decades. Most of that funding went to founders in five major cities: New York, San Fransisco, Los Angeles, Denver, and Austin.
