Chasing Rainbows attends the first-ever White House Roundtable on the State of Venture Capital for LGBTQ+ Startups and Funds

Pride Month may be over but we certainly made the most of it. Closing out Pride celebrations, the Chasing Rainbows team, GP Ben Stokes, Partner Maddie Stenger, and Principal Leigh Pomerantz, headed to the White House to participate in the first roundtable on the state of venture capital for LGBTQ+ startups and funds.

The roundtable discussion focused on how the Biden Administration could work with startups and funds like Chasing Rainbows to continue fostering new innovation and progress on the following goals:

  • Implement economic policies that foster growth and equity for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs.

  • Enhance data collection and program funding for LGBTQ+ businesses.

  • Strengthen community lenders in leveraging AI for better business underwriting.

  • Recognize the contribution of LGBTQ+ founders in job creation and innovation across the United States.

On top of the core team, several Chasing Rainbows investors and portfolio companies were at the roundtable including Patrick Driscoll, Mark Bernstein, Brian Richardson, Annie Brown (Reliabl), and more.
